Cadillac Escalade SillProtector

SillProtector delivers EDGE-TO-EDGE PROTECTION against everyday wear and tear to your vehicle’s interior door sills. It’s laser-measured for a custom fit, attaches directly to your door sill surface with high-bond adhesive strips.

It shields entry points to combat scratches, scuffs and more from people and pets that can be expensive to repair. Made from high-quality, impact-resistant material, this Sill Protector, or scuff plate, is built to provide long-lasting defense.

Installation is quick and simple. Start by cleaning your door sill. Then, clean the product using the provided alcohol pad. Finally, peel back the adhesive liner and press SillProtector firmly into place.

As a bonus, when it’s time to trade in your vehicle, SillProtector covers small scuffs and blemishes to help protect resale value.

SillProtector is currently available for 2-door and 4-door vehicles.

Where is this product made?

How long must I wait after installing SillProtector to drive my vehicle?

We recommend waiting 1–2 hours after installing SillProtector before driving to allow for adequate adhesion. Complete adhesion takes up to 24 hours. Do not wash your vehicle for 72 hours after installation.

Can I install SillProtector in the winter?

To ensure proper tape adhesion, we recommend installing your SillProtector in temperatures of 60°F or above, or inside a heated garage.

Is the product image shown an exact match to my vehicle?

In many cases, yes. But please note that the vehicle shown in imagery may sometimes be marked as “representative.” Not all vehicle photos may match the Year, Make and Model that you have selected from the vehicle selector menu.

Does SillProtector come as a set?

SillProtector is sold in a set of two for 2-door vehicles and in a set of four for 4-door vehicles.

Is SillProtector custom fit to my vehicle?

Yes. SillProtector is precision measured for a custom fit to the shape, size and contours of your vehicle’s make and model. It delivers edge-to-edge protection and features a sleek, low-profile design for an OEM look and feel.

Will installing a Sill Protector interfere with factory seals or closing the door?

No.

I just purchased a 2022 Grand Cherokee and was looking for sill protectors. These popped up and the price was excellent. So I purchased and my husband installed them. The fit is amazing and so is the extra protection. The vehicle sits a little high so people do scuff that area getting in and out. Love it so much I bought the rear bumper protector. Can’t wait for that to come!

These match the contour of the door perfectly; they look like they should have been a factory item. Matches the color of the existing door gaskets. Easy install took less than 15 minutes for all four doors. I have never been disappointed with any item purchased from Weathertech.

Quite an upgrade!

My door sills were shiny and pristine. Then I accidentally put a small dent on my driver side so every time I get into the car I see it. I bought these door sill protectors to cover that dent, now it looks like it never happened! They are not rubbery but a very rigid and durable hard plastic. They look great and my dog appreciates the extra grip when jumping into the car.

I have really enjoyed having these sill protectors on my 23 Bronco. I tend to drag my feet getting in the Bronco so these have prevented me scratching the sills. They were very easy to install. Lined up just right and add a nice look to the Bronco when you open the door.

Good Product to protect your ride

Installed these a week ago and they fit perfectly and actually do provide additional protection to the door sills. Fit is very good and covers the area of the door sill that is exposed to the most wear. Installation was easy and only took about ten minutes per door. The adhesive compound seems to be of a high quality and so far holding the protector in place. Only time will tell but for now all is good.

My wife just bought a new Subaru Crosstrek. Like most new vehicles out there, they have nothing to protect the paint on the sills. Bought a set of sill protectors from weathertech. Nicely made, should be able to take a beating with no problem. Plus they look nice.
